Many families choose cremation today over traditional burial but still want a service. Most crematories in the area are multiple user facilities located in distant industrial parks. Anderson-McQueen realized that to offer its families the level of service that they had come to expect, it would be necessary to build their own private, on-premise facility. To accommodate the wide range of client preferences, we built the spacious Cremation Tribute Center on our Tyrone Center campus. It is a comfortable yet contemporary facility built specially for visitations, memorials, gatherings and other cremation ceremonies. Families can gather in our sitting room for refreshments. Our beautiful courtyard, featuring a flowing fountain, provides a beautiful setting for quiet reflection. All funeral homes advertise "cremation services" but don't be fooled! We are the only St. Petersburg funeral home that owns and operates an on-premise crematory to ensure the highest standards of care, comfort and accountability.
