Obituary of Scott V. Smith

Scott V. Smith, 51, of St Petersburg, passed away on June 16, 2018. He was born on November 25, 1966 to Bobby and Donalda (Bishop) Smith in Milwaukee, WI. Scott worked was an Electrical Contractor and was the proud owner of SVS Electric. He  is survived by his loving wife, Katharine Sue “Kate” Smith of St. Petersburg, FL ; children, Justin Robert Smith of Tacoma, WA; Hannah Virginia Smith of St. Petersburg, FL; grandson, Evan Ronald Johnson; siblings, Robert Lay Smith, Rocky Dean Fowler,  Rhonda Lynn Smith; mother-in-law, Virginia "Ginnie" Taylor of Saint Petersburg, FL; many extended family members and friends. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Lay Smith, mother Donalda Smith and sister, Wanda DeBruyn. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018, Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street St. Petersburg, Florida 33074. The family will receive guests prior to the service form 3-4pm. Following the service there will be a reception from 5:30- 7:30 at Fergs Sports Bar, 1320 Central Ave, St Petersburg, FL 33705.
