My condolences to your family. I got to know Barbara more recently when I started in real estate 10 years ago. She was a lovely, strong, intelligent woman and I was honored to work with her at RE/MAX. She had a quick wit and was so good at what she did. Barbara shared with me some great stories from her years of working with families in St. Pete. She is missed.

My deepest condolonces to your family. Losing a sibling and now a mother must be very tough, but Gods word can strengthen you in this difficult time. I hope you can find comfort in his word and let this guide you through this time. (Psalms 55:22)

It is with sadness when I read the notification of Barbara's passing and I've reflected on the time we've spent together. She was so gracious and kind! A few years ago my house was selected to be on the home tour and a few days before the event Barbara showed up with the trunk of her car loaded with new plants and gorgeous containers, totally unsuspected.
I wouldn't be in this house had it not been for her and her real estate acumen, but we also were friends. We went to dinner a lot, gardened together and found a mutual love of vincas, I got to meet Whitey and was so glad to see him in the video. We laughed uproariously so many times, and I considered her a close friend.
My heart goes out to the family and will be thinking of you all in the coming days. Due to health problems I'll be unable to attend the Friday and Saturday memorials, but I'll be there in spirit.
Hugs to all!

Aunt Barbara was and always will be a timeless, classy, lady with indestructible integrity and elegant charisma. She is very dear to our hearts and will forever remain cherished. Heaven has gained a magnificent jewel. Aunt Barbara and Mom/Granny (Joyce, her sister and "partner in crime") have been reunited and enjoying long walks and talks in the garden together arm and arm. It comforts us to know her warm hugs and loving kisses will be waiting for us when we get Home. We love you Aunt Barbara-God Bless You!
