Obituary of Beverly Bennett Abell

Abell, Beverly Bennett, 85, of St. Petersburg went home to be with the Lord September 5, 2018 at Pathway Hospice in Ruskin, FL. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, she graduated from St. Petersburg High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Guy Abell; her parents, Harold and Doris Bennett; and her siblings, Sharon Bennett Longbottom and George Bennett. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Marcie Biddison; her sons, Charles Guy Abell and Randy Abell; her siblings, Beth Bennett Bourgeois and Phil Bennett; her grandchildren, Caylee Ann Biddison, Whitlee Ann Biddison, Natalee Ann Biddison, and Charles Guy Abell Jr. Beverly was an Alpha Gamma Delta at Florida State University and also was heavily involved in theatre and chorus. She was a member of the St Petersburg Junior League and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for the 10 Best Dressed Women of St. Petersburg. She was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church. Beverly loved talking about the Lord well into her last days. She not only taught a local Bible study for 27 years, but she also taught monthly Bible studies in Tallahassee, Venice, and Orlando. Beverly was a strong woman who will be remembered for her Christian faith, sense of humor, and positive attitude.
