Kleer, Joann Theresa

68, died on September 12, 2018 while in the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.  She was born in 1950 in Trenton, New Jersey and grew up in Bordentown.  She came to St. Petersburg in 1972.  Prior to leaving work due to disability, she enjoyed a career as a ward clerk.  She is predeceased by her parents, Martin and Anna Mae Kleer, and her brother Marty Kleer.  She is survived by her sister-in-law Marianne Martin, and numerous cousins and many dear friends. Her Catholic faith meant a great deal to her and family was always top priority.  She was a talented baker and enjoyed making creative cards on the computer.  She will be remembered for her loving, caring manner, and her ability to focus on others despite any turmoil or discomfort she was experiencing.

Visitation at Anderson McQueen Tyrone Chapel at 7820 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 on Sunday Sept. 16th from 2PM to 4PM.  Funeral mass at Light of Christ Catholic Church, 2176 Marilyn St, Clearwater, FL 33765 on Monday Sept. 17th  at 10AM with internment to follow at Royal Palm Cemetery South, 101  55th  St S., St Petersburg, FL 33707.
