"Please accept my condolence as your family bears the loss of a dear loved one, may God be with you all to give you strength to cope with the emptiness an event such as this can bring. His Word is our guide and comfort, I pray the promises at Psalm 34:18, John 5:28,28, and Revelation 21:4, will sustain you in the days to come, God is greater than our hearts."

To the family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Although I am not acquainted with your family or loved one I want to offer my deepest condolences and offer a word of encouragement with a future hope during your time of grieving.
The pain, the grief, and feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. Our Grand creator, Jehovah, father of tender mercies, lovingly provided his word the Bible to provide you comfort in this case. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Jehovah hates death so much that death is called “the last enemy” and will “be brought to nothing” (1 Corinthians 15:26) God promises that the dead will live again. (Isaiah 26:19) Doesn’t this fill your heart with hope? “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out!” (John 5:28, 29) Imagine that! One day, Anita will be brought back to life. So while you grieve now for your lost loved one, allow God’s word to comfort and stregthen you while you eagerly await the day you can see Anita again. The best is yet to come!

I was so honored to share our two precious grandsons with Anita. She was a wonderful Nana and the boys loved being with her and receiving and giving her love. I’ll miss her presence and so will her little boys, but we will talk about her often and all the fun they had with her.

Bob and Family--
Please accept my heartfelt condolences in your loss of such a beautiful soul, Anita. I met her only once--at High Hampton in NC--but she stole all the SPHS hearts there. All were blessed to know her--whether for just a weekend or a whole lifetime.
Love and prayers,
Laura Neath Black SPHS '67

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
At a sad time as this, the Bible gives us comfort at Revelation 21:3,4 where God promises to eliminate sickness, sorrow and death. What a wonderful time when we no longer have to face these enemies.
I hope this scripture gives you some consolation.

My heart goes out to Robert, family and friends during this sad and difficult time. As you try to find ways to get through one day at a time, please find comfort from Isaiah 33:24 - And no resident will say: “I am sick.” God never intended mankind to get sick, grow old or die. Rev 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Soon almighty God, Jehovah promises to resurrect those lost in death. John 5:28, 29 Warmest regards.

There are moments in your memory that are so impactful, you can't ever forget, their woven into your story in life. I vividly recall the day in 2nd grade, in a new school, when I was blessed with a soft spoken sweet girl offering her friendship, Jennifer McDermott. Anita, Jennifer, Marty and Michael became a natural extension of our family. My mom and Anita solidifying a lifelong friendship with many Thanksgivings celebrated together, devouring Anita's sausage and cheese biscuits and my mom's moist turkey (Michael). The weekend long slumber parties filled with Barbie and soccer, movies, bike rides, cotillion, youth group and Hyde Park shopping when we became too cool. Annoying Marty and his friends while sweet Michael played with Davis. Anita was very much a 2nd mom for me, offering me an outlet to talk about everything while gently being a guiding light. She is the MOST graceful woman I've known. Grace exuding from her even during the most difficult decision she had to make 7 weeks ago. She gracefully wanted to make the most of her time and share her thanksgiving with those that meant the most to her. What I witnessed in watching her family take care of her was Godly, angelic, so amazingly beautiful. Jennifer, you gave your mom such a glorious gift the 5 weeks you were with her. If it wasn't for the blessing, quality and love my faith would be rattled. My heart is heavy and breaks for all of you: Jennifer, Marty, Michael, Bob, Amy and Erin. We've lost a guiding light but most of all you've lost a WONDERFUL MOTHER, wife, sister and aunt. You have our prayers for peace and that time will make the loss a little less painful with the joyous memories Anita gave you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
