Obituary of Emelia "Lize" Lewin

Emelia “Lize” Lewin, 92, of St. Petersburg, Florida and Lluidas Vale, St. Catherine, Jamaica, transitioned into heaven on October 8, 2018. Born on March 25, 1926, in St. Catherine, Jamaica, she migrated to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1985 where she resided until the time of death. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Lewin; son, Eric Lewin; and daughter, Estella Lewin.

Emelia is survived by eleven children, Samuel, William (Icilda), Cyril (Charmaine), Carlton, Peter (Deone), David (Towanda), Pamella, Donnette, Laurel, Christene (Clyde), Audrey (Donald); 26 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one sister, Enid Gant (Cleveland, OH), and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 19, 2018, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson McQueen Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710.

Home going celebration for Emelia will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., Anderson McQueen Tyrone Chapel. Interment in the Sunnyside Cemetery, 5300 19th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL  33714.
