Cheri was born in Salem, Massachusetts on December 13th, 1959 to Carole and Bill Casey. She lived her early years in Lynn, Massachusetts, attending Our Lady of the Assumption, then moved to Largo Florida and attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School.  She graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic High School in 1977.  She went on to Study Liberal Arts at Eckerd College St Petersburg.  On June 17th, 1984, December 9th, 1985 and October 1st, 1989 respectively, she welcomed her three beautiful daughters, who were the most important part of her life.

Cheri was a wonderful mom, daughter, sister, niece & friend and lived her life as a free spirit and avid music lover. She absolutely loved being at the beach, lived her entire life close to a seashore, and mostly loved family time with her girls. As a young mom she enjoyed visiting with her family often and traveling back to New England & Virginia. She spent most of her working life in the hospitality business, working for over 18 years with Bob Evans as well as 8 years as a dedicated caretaker at the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence in St Pete.

She was a holistic health practitioner and self-proclaimed “Hippie” thru periods of time. Cheri was a Big “Foodie” and an avid cook whom was always playing Chef with the next new healthy creation.  As an avid music fan, her playlists included her favorites the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead & U2 to name a few….and there was hardly a time when she wasn’t looking forward to going to her next live concert.  Most recognized by those who knew Cheri were her bright blue eyes, her beautiful smile and her very infectious laugh that lit up any room she entered.   She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her…….. Rest in Peace Sweet Cheri

In Loving Memory of Cheri 1959 – 2018

When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
