Obituary of Terrence Michael McKinnon, Sr.

Terrence Michael McKinnon, Sr., age 77, was reunited with the love of his life, Barbara, on Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was born on April 17, 1941 in Boston, MA to the late Daniel and Agatha McKinnon. He proudly served in the United States Navy as an E-3 for 2 years. He was the owner of Agape Drywall and Windows for over 35 years. Terry was very involved with the YMCA where he gained many friends and made a significant impact. He was also a children’s Pastor at Praise Cathedral in Pinellas Park for over 20 years. Terry loved Jesus, sharing his faith, and leading others to Christ. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. Terry and his wife, Barbara, shared 56 loving years of marriage and together had 6 children: Terrence M. McKinnon, Jr., Timothy D. McKinnon, Paul T. McKinnon, Laurie A. Nicholson, David M. McKinnon, and Stephen M. McKinnon; 11 grandchildren: Melissa, C.J., Michael, Sara, Rachel, Mark, Stephany, Hunter, Madison, Kayleigh, and Mallory; 4 great-grandchildren: Logan, Mia, Jovanny, and Dominic; a brother, Eddie McKinnon; as well as many other family members and friends. Terrence was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ashton McKinnon, and his siblings, Daniel McKinnon, Jimmy McKinnon, Theresa Hall, and Larry McKinnon. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11am at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg.
