Obituary of Barbara H. Tibbetts

Tibbetts, Barbara H., 84, of Seminole, died Dec. 29th.  She came to Florida in 1934 from her native Toledo, Ohio and was a self-employed childcare provider.  She was a former faithful member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, serving in the nursery ministry for over 30 years.  She was currently a member of First Baptist Indian Rocks.  Barbara is survived by her six children; Marlene (Jack) Taylor, Thomas Tibbetts, Natalie (Michael) McCurdy, Philip (Carolyn) Tibbetts, Eileen (Brian) Peters, and Melody (Mark) Ather, her brother; Richard (Genee) Hurlston, her sister; Sharon (Merl) Twigg, sixteen grandchildren; Zachary, Rebecca (Jeffrey), Jeffrey (Jenna), Brooke, Nancy, Lisa, Gabriel, Mary, Alex (Amber), Wesley, Tyler (Tessa), Kristina (Jason), Rachael (Neil), Abigail (Josh), Olivia (Ben) and Dillon (Hannah), and twenty-three great grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by her husband; Dillon Tibbetts, her parents; William T. Hurlston and Trilby Hurlston, her brother; Bill Hurlston, and her sister; Virginia Dean.

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home Tyrone Chapel, located at 7820 - 38th Avenue North, where services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019, with Pastor Michael McCurdy officating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
