I called him "JR" and recently "my funny honey" because he had a wonderful sense of humor.
I always encouraged him to write fictional humor because of his incredible writing talent. In my
lifetime, he was the only man I ever knew besides my father that had the kindness, gentleness,
easy-going personality and caring soul that I have been fortunate to experience. I miss you and
love you "JR".

We recently met and worked with John at Patio Pools. He was knowledgeable, professional and gave us a feeling of his trustworthiness. He spoke of his family, his recent car purchases and his years in the business. We really enjoyed meeting him and working with him. Our sympathy goes to his family, and we are sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

John was a good man and a good and loyal friend. Enjoyed my times with him at car shows and sales in Florida and the infamous Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan each year. I will miss his easy friendship. My condolences to his fine family and I know you will miss him each and every day. Dan Schrock

My heart goes out to Robert's family and friends during this sad and difficult time. Robert will be dearly missed by all. Please find comfort from Isaiah 33:24 - And no resident will say: “I am sick.” God never intended mankind to get sick, grow old or die. Rev 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Soon almighty God, Jehovah promises to resurrect those lost in death. Warmest regards.

I had known John for about 45 years. I first met John back in the early 1970s when we both worked at Tropicana Pools. He
was in sales while I was in construction.
John started working here at Patio back in 1987, running new pool construction, up until he retired. Even after retirement he
helped out in construction and new pool sales. Recently, he just sold two more pools.
We, at Patio, had a great fondness for John and I know he also had a great fondness for his Patio Pools family.
John was well respected and loved by everyone here as well as all our subcontractors. John was also well respected
throughout the pool industry. He had a good sense of humor, was very intelligent, very analytical and so very even tempered. I
shall miss his help, his presence, the times at lunch and the conversations we shared.
John was my friend, my dear old friend, and he can never be replaced. He will be missed by friends and family alike.
REST IN PEACE, dear friend
