My heart goes out to the family Louis and friends during this sad and difficult time. Please find comfort from Isaiah 33:24 - "And no resident will say: I am sick.” God never intended mankind to get sick, grow old or die. Rev 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” 1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Soon almighty God, Jehovah promises to resurrect those lost in death. (John 5:28,29) So while you grieve now for your lost loved one, allow God’s word to comfort and stregthen you while you eagerly await the day you can see your loved once again. The best is yet to come!

Dear Lori, Linda, Mark & family
It was with much sadness that we learned of the passing of dear Lou.
He was a kind, gentle man, with a great sense of humour.
We have the fondest memories of our visits across the pond to visit Joyce & Lou in St Pete & Brooksville, where we were always treated as part of the family. He also took us to parts of Florida away from the usual tourist hotspots.
We would also meet up with Lou on his frequent trips to the UK.
Jackie's Aunty Audrey & Uncle Harry also had a lasting friendship with Lou & Joyce for many, many years.
With all our love at this sad time
David & Jackie Peckham, Audrey Butcher

Dear Lori and family.
I wanted to send my deepest condolences after hearing about the passing of dear Lou. I have fond memories of visiting Lou and Joyce in the 1980's with my parents - both of whom showed us a real Florida life, away from the tourist spots. He managed to secure us tickets to see a Bucs game in 1986, so Lou was instrumental in starting my life long love of American Football! We were lucky enough to see Lou again in London in the early 2000's where I introduced him to my then girlfriend Vanessa, who like Mum, Dad and I, fell for his charm and gentle personality. We are all sending our love and thoughts from across the pond at this difficult time, and feel honoured that we knew such a lovely man.
Much love,
Tony, Vanessa, Rhea, Iona Peckham (son of David and Jackie). X

Dear Lori , Linda, and Mark
We were so saddened to hear about uncle Louie ‘s passing . We so enjoyed his visits up north . Jimmy used to say he could listen to his stories all day . I recall my mom being so proud of her brother when he earned his degree in his later years . And I also recal my dad calling him by his nickname only “scappy. My dad used to say he was the best ball player on Staten Island! He was so blessed to have u all . Now is finally with your Mom . And I’m sure I know in my heart that all 5 of his sisters are fitting on him as we speak . You are all in our prayers today and of the difficult days ahead . May all the wonderful memories you all shared comfort you all at this time . And my our Lord wrap his loving arms around you . Love Marie , Jim and family.

We met “Scap” about 12 years ago after our Dad passed. Mom (Sis) reconnected a childhood friendship she and Dad had with him. They gave each other joy and companionship as each had lost their spouse of 50+ years. They brought smiles back to each other’s face and joy to their lives! It was a pleasure to see them both smiling and happy! Scap became part of our family as he was included in all our holiday traditions! It was such a pleasure to listen to his stories of growing up on Staten Island and the commeradery of the baseball years that all the young men played before joining the service during WW2! The Greatest Generation has lost another member but Heaven has gained another Angel! He is together again with the loved ones he has missed for so long! Rest In Peace Scap!

To my brother Louie,
So many wonderful memories. Thinking back on the days of you and Joyce walking from Bond street to our house on New street and drinking "pops" beer in while sitting in the garage. Playing short stop with you playing 2nd base in the Viola vs. Madalone softball games. Those days will forever be with us. May God bless you brother, you will be missed. To my nieces and nephew , we mourn your loss with you. Your father was a great man. Love to you all, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Johnny.

Lou was a loving brother who I remember with much pride and joy. He was always there for you and coming from a large family Lou was always devoted to his parents and his siblings. He carried this quality into his marriage and fatherhood truly embracing them. I loved him dearly and will always carry him in my heart.

DEAR FAMILY,
"While I am sadden to learn about your beloved Louis, it saddens King Jesus and his Heavenly Father Jehovah even more. May you find comfort in knowing that Louis is 'safe in the memory' of our Creator Jehovah, who longs to restore him with Perfect Health and living forever as John 3:16 reminds us. Family ~ you are warmly invited to visit JW.ORG, a website of comfort to see a consoling brief video. In the Search Field please type, 'IS THERE HOPE FOR THE DEAD?' Yes, the resurrection hope of seeing Louis again on a peaceful Paradise Earth, is reassuring as King Jesus promised at Luke 23:43. Other heartwarming thoughts are shared at John 5:28-29, Isaiah 26:19 and Isaiah 65:17-25."

I want to share with all who loved my Pop his favorite poem. It is how he lived his life and a wonderful thought for all.
For you Pop:
By Ella Wilcox:
One Ship drives East and another drives West with the self same winds that blow.....
'Tis the set of the sails and not the gales that tells them the way to go"
Like the winds of the sea are the winds of fate
As we voyage along through life:
'Tis the set of the soul that decides its goal and not the calm or the strife.
Love you forever Pop. I am always with you. And you always told me, never good bye, just so long for now.

To the family,
Please accept my sincere condolences during this very difficult time. Losing someone that means so much to you is very difficult, so I hope that the you can find comfort and hope from the words at Revelation 21:4 and John 5:28, 29. Until then may you continue to cherish the many memories you shared together, as they too can be a source of comfort,
