Obituary of Mary Alice Young

Mary Alice Young, 92, of Kenneth City, Florida, died Monday, January 28, 2019, at Woodside Hospice. Born December 19, 1926 to Elbert and Nannie Lou (Click) Young in Humboldt, TN. She went to nursing school and became an RN. She truly loved her career in nursing. Mary Alice was the favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews. We all loved our aunt Mary. She will be missed. Mary loved long drives, walking in the park, sailing, and painting. Having never married, she was very independent, and very protective of her “kids.” Mary will be laid to rest with her family at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. A celebration of her life will be held 11am Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Clearview United Methodist Church, 4515 38th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713.
