Obituary of Kitty B. Bluemel

Kitty Bluemel, age 86, of Saint Petersburg, passed away July 15, 2019 at home with her family. Born and raised in Germany, Kitty was the strongest woman we have ever known. She was very independent as well as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Kitty loved to crochet so much that when she retired and moved to Saint Petersburg, she started selling her craft at the local flea market where she made great friends for life. She was very easy to get along with and always had open arms. Her laugh and strong spirit will always be remembered by her family and friends. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, Werner Karl Wilhelm Bothmann and Auguste Luise Hedwig Bothmann. She is survived by her daughter, Angelika O'Connor; her grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Troy Bell; and her great-grandchildren, Angelina Brower, Samantha, TJ, Garrett, Nathan and Gweneth Bell. Kitty preferred no memorial service and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
