Thursday, September 5, 2019Cate was a beautiful woman both inside and out. She was without a doubt the best teaching partner I could have ever asked for. We learned much from each other about our profession; both the ups and the downs. The years I worked with her were some of the best teaching years of my life. We shared laughter and tears during and after school and enjoyed many Friday "gatherings" after school with our friends. A nice glass of wine for Cate and a whiskey or two for me. Cheering on our football team and planning field trips together was always a blast. I feel honored to have known her. Cate was always one of the few who tolerated my constant Star Wars and Harry Potter analogies towards life and our jobs as teachers. I will conclude with a favorite quote from both. "Those that leave us are never really gone." "Always."

Wednesday, September 4, 2019I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Cate. I was a classmate of hers at Aurora Christian School (class of 1979). Sadly I had not seen her since graduation but remember her as always friendly to me and would share a smile to all who knew her. My condolences to her family who I know take comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord now. Mark Robinson classmate
