We loved Pat at Azalea Elementary! She always brought her boa constrictor, tarantula, iguanas, and other exotic pets into our classrooms to share with our students. In the 2000s she would come for the great American teach in and have presentations to multi grade levels throughout the day. We always enjoyed the day she would come to visit our school One year at our school carnival she and Mr. Brown set up a booth so people could have their picture taken with the boa constrictor or one of her other pets. She made a great impact on our students and people for many decades. She will be greatly missed!
To all of those who were blessed to have Mrs. Patricia Brown touch their lives as I have been,
I want to offer my sympathies for your loss. Patricia, and Gary as well, lived by example and gave so generously of themselves to the community. The children of their community are now the adults of ours and we are all richer for their generosity. Patricia was an icon in our community. One who quietly enriched the youth of so many, myself included. We owe her endless thanks. I owe her.
Please accept our condolences in this time of loss. She has inspired so many and so many will still carry her life with them.
