Obituary of Charles W Vanecek

VANECEK, Charles William, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in St. Petersburg on Sunday, May 3, 2020.  Charlie was a native New Yorker who sought sunny skies in Florida.  He was a retired chemist and patent attorney and a collector of nonfiction books. He enjoyed spending time with his family, eating pizza and watching the Rays, Bucs, and classic shows on TV.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Agnes; his children Andrea Carvill (Dale Parker), Carl Vanecek (Tania Hake), and John Vanecek (Neida); his grandchildren Brendyn Vanecek, Danny Carvill,  Alina Vanecek, Drew Carvill, Zachary Vanecek, Riley Vanecek and Sophia Vanecek; and his brother, Donald Vanecek.  A memorial celebration of Charlie's life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1800 12th St. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704.
