Heartbroken to hear of Sean’s passing. I remember when he was born and watching him grow up as neighbors. Praying for the Strehle family. May Sean’s memory bless you now and always. - Bethany (Kuechler) Flanagan.

Teri, I don't know if you'll see this, but I am at a loss for words. Sean meant the world to me - even if he didn't feel the same way. I want you to know, I am so sorry. I feel like this is all my fault; he didn't deserve this. If there is anything you need PLEASE let me know. Kay and Jack, please forgive me.

Sean’s lighthearted, loving glow holds a special place in my heart. As my student at St. Pete Catholic, I remember him as a happy freshman, eager to meet everyone and totally enjoy high school. Sean beamed with energy and had a way of making everyone feel comfortable. Never demanding the spotlight, Sean avoided drama while proving to be a friend to everyone. He was a kind soul, an old soul. All of these traits he exuded due to his loving mother who showered him with support and allowed him to be who he was. Everyone knew Teresa was Sean’s biggest fan and constant ally, and that he adored her in return. Every one of us is better for having had Sean touch our lives, with grace, kindness, and pure joy. And we’ll all meet again.

Dear Kay and Jack,
I can’t imagine the devastation you and Sean’s Mom are feeling. I know it’s been a while since we’ve seen you so I remember Sean as a boy and very early teenager. He was always so cute and well behaved - at least with me! He and Evan, along with the rest of the neighborhood rugrats, played night tag and hide and seek till they dropped and had a lot of good times together. They swam like fish and prowled each other’s homes for snacks and drinks like locusts! I recollect he enjoyed a few of our infamous New Year’s Eve parties, too!
To lose someone so young is always a tragedy and I personally know how difficult it can be to recover from such a loss, although under much different circumstances. You were so involved in Sean’s life and I know what a blessing and joy he was to you, as you were to him. Thank God for the closeness you had. While it makes your pain even deeper, it also provides you with the joy and blessings of the many happy memories you shared.
It is my prayer that your memories of all the good times and God’s Grace will give you that peace which surpasses all understanding.
With love and prayers,
Gale Bobenhausen (Wynne)
