BONNIE MIDDLETON BENDER

1927 – 2020

Daughter of the late R.B. Hogan & Florence Hogan of Rush, KY. Passed away on July 12th, 2020 and joined her late husband Charles Middleton at heaven’s gates. Treasured by her children, Don Middleton, Patty Adams and the late Donna Middleton Riley. Loved by her grandchildren, Donessa McCarty, Kylan Middleton, Donavan Middleton, Dustin Adams, Chris Hudson, Kimberly Hudson Menozzi and the late Lisa Hudson Herbst. Bonnie was blessed with 14 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Bonnie and Charlie shared their love of god and community by serving many of the youth groups in Westwood and Ashland, KY. Bonnie’s nursing career led the two to Arizona, where she worked for the Veterans Administration. There, they served the Navajo children on the Navajo Reservation, helping develop and build a Methodist church. Bonnie’s work eventually led her to Florida, where she continued to share her faith and love for others through her nursing career, working with the Veterans Administration in St. Petersburg, FL.

Celebration of Bonnie’s life to be held at a later date due to Covid-19. When possible, family will provide the dates and times to share in the story of her amazing life.
