Dean Heller was one of the most humblest man I have ever knew, a Boss, a friend, a mentor. He will truly be missed, I will never forget the impact you left on my life.

I met Bill and Jean when they first came to St. Petersburg in the early 90s to visit the area And not really knowing anyone here. My brother-in-law, Terry Rose, who worked with Bill at UNC asked my husband and I to meet them and give them an idea of our area. We took them to Woody’s on Saint Pete Beach in a grouper sandwiches. They were the kind of couple that you feel like you’ve known them as friends for a very long time after meeting them for a few minutes. I feel privileged To have had that experience and then watching Bill carve all his “niches” in our community from USF, Great Explorations, SPCA,our government, and so much more! My heartfelt sympathies to you and your family, Jean. He will be truly missed.
