Joseph Ramnarine died on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in St. Petersburg Florida. He was just shy of his 88th birthday.
He was best known by family, friends and neighbors as “Joe, Coyee, Uncle and Pops”.
Joseph was born on October 21, 1932, in Trinidad and Tobago. He attended Fatima College and was an avid Cricket Player in his young days.
He was a keen business man, managing The American Stores in Tobago as well as a passionate car and real estate enthusiast. In November 1988, he moved with his wife, Norma and children, Sean and Sherry to St. Petersburg Florida. He was the son of Ram Narine and Babune Ramnarine and brother of Rita Ramnarine. He was a husband and widower to Norma Ramnarine (Deceased) Father to Robin Ramnarine and Jenny Gangadeen (both Deceased) , Neil Ramnarine, Merna Donawa, Sean Ramnarine and Sherry Shanahan. Grandfather to Rachel, Alessandra, Shane, Deanna, Deon, Jake, Anthony and Megan. Great Grandfather of Satira and Ariyana. An uncle, cousin, good friend and neighbor to many.
His good spirits , cooking skills, humor and passion to help others will be missed.
A visitation before the funeral service will at Anderson McQueen, 2201 Dr. M.L.K. Jr St N, St. Petersburg, FL . The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives. The Funeral Service will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, 5300 19th St N, St. Petersburg.
