Obituary of Joyce Marie Blok

Joyce Marie Blok, age 86, of St. Petersburg, passed away on October 11, 2020. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. Joyce met her husband, Bill, in Grand Rapids and they were married in December 1957. They had four children together and raised their family in Grand Island, NY. Upon retirement, Joyce and Bill moved to Bradenton, FL, where they enjoyed golfing together year round. She was active in the church choir. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, as well as her two brothers and sister.  She is survived by her brother Jim Elderkin of Grand Rapids, MI; children Debbie (Mike) Homolash of St. Petersburg, Elaine Blok of Portland, OR, Roberta Murray of Grand Island, NY, and Bill Blok, Jr, of New Orleans; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
