Obituary of Nina Gray

Gray, Janina "Nina", age 73, of St. Petersburg, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 11, 2020. Although she was born in Germany, she briefly moved to Cooperstown, New York as a child before spending the rest of her years in St. Petersburg. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Gray. She is survived by her daughters Heather (Mike) Womack, Tanya Gray, and son Daniel Gray. Nina was a very independent, resourceful woman who enjoyed reading, traveling to all 50 states, and vacuuming her house. She was a devoted teacher and parent. Nina loved music and dancing, and even continued to dance while undergoing cancer treatment. She loved her cats Little D, Moocher, and B2, her dog Macy, and her parrot Echo. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at 1:30pm at Sunnyside Cemetery, 5300 19th Street North.
