Obituary of Hazel J. Barr

73, passed away on Nov. 24th in St Petersburg, FL. She was born to Russell & Mabel Fortner on July 25th, 1947 in Danville, IL. She is survived by her husband, Jay; children, John, David, Theresa and Bryan; siblings, Paul R. Fortner of Live Oak, FL, Melody Ann Fortner of Salem, Missouri, Meda (Dennis) Winslow of Mahomet, IL, and Mona (Matt) Beckelhymer of Model, Colorado; 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. And is preceded in passing by Myra Fortner, Claire Bernardi, Carl Fortner and Orville Fortner. Hazel worked for many years as a CNA in various nursing homes throughout Springfield & Champaign, IL.
