Obituary of Marilyn Whitehorn

Marilyn Whitehorn, age 89, originally from New York but currently residing in St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Marilyn was born and raised in New York, New York and remained there until she joined her daughter, Robin, and son-in-law Alan in St. Petersburg. She was a New York City school teacher for many years and retired early to spend a good part of her retirement traveling and enjoying all that New York's culture had to offer. Marilyn also attended music classes at Julliard and participated in the chorus at Kingsborough Community College. She is survived by her daughter Robin Cohan and her son-in-law Alan Schwartz of Tampa, FL; her step-daughter Laurie (David) Knafo ; grandsons Aaron (Gabrielle) and Scott Knafo; great-grandsons Max and Xander Knafo of Delray Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Bon Secours Place and the family would like to thank the staff of Bon Secours Place for their excellent care of their mother.
