Obituary of Paul E. Young

Paul E. Young 83 of St. Petersburg and formally of Marcus Hook, PA passed away on February 28, 2021 at Bayfront Medical Center. Paul was born and raised in Marcus Hook, PA and graduated from Eddystone High School, class of 1955, where he was an athlete. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, brother, Davis Young and his parents Clara and James Young. He is survived by his daughter, Joan; his grand dogs, Cooper and Ollie and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Paul coached the teen boys Vikings baseball team in the 1970s, girls basketball at Marcus Hook Elementary School, girls Vikings pee wee softball and was very active in his community. He was a ship supervisor for Sun Ship in Chester, PA until 1982 and moved to Florida and worked for Hendry Corp until his retirement in 2002. He loved to watch t.v. and spend time with his daughter. He had a very giving heart and would do anything for anyone. He will also be remembered as one of the good guys and a wonderful father.
