Obituary of Marian R Barry

Barry, Marian R., 87, of Tierra Verde went home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2021. She preceded in death by parents, Bernard and Juanita Roberts; her son, Gregory Michael Barry; brother, Donald Roberts. She worked and retired as a real estate broker in St. Petersburg. Marian enjoyed gardening, pencil sketch and painting water colors. She also served as an art instructor for the City of St. Petersburg but her greatest love was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Marian was a dedicated parishioner of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church since the 1960s. She resided in the same home she raised her family in since 1964, surrounded by gardens, always filled with family & friends and the sounds of her pet bird, which kept her family close knit.

She is survived by her children, Mark W. Barry (Laura), Kim L. Barry, Jill M. Accola (Gregory); grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Daniel, Jacob, Leah, Michael, Michele, Cari, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Chase, Peter, Wesley, Hannah, Emery; and her brother, Gary Robert. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10:30am – 11am with funeral Mass starting at 11am; both at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Committal service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery following Mass and a reception at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home – TYRONE after the committal service.
