Obituary of James F Jones, Jr.

James F. Jones, Jr. Aka Jimmy the Clip, Dollar Jim and Grumpy, passed away peacefully April 8, 2021 with his family by his side. Born and raised in St. Pete, he was a graduate in 1969 of Northeast High School. Jim was a barber for 50 years and loved his faithful customers and wanted to thank all of them who helped put bread and butter on our table and “jingle” in his pocket! He lit up the room with his beautiful smile and was a great teller of jokes. Golfing was Jim’s favorite pass time but he loved all sports. He was full of advice and always “Just curious!”. Jim was a true gentleman and never met a stranger. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Dr. James F. Jones and mother, Eunice M. Jones. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his daughter, Melissa (Donny); sons, Joe, Sean and Jason; sisters, Nancy (George) and Patti and seven grandchildren. He will be sorely missed but will live in our hearts forever. Be at peace my love, until we meet again. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
