Obituary of Kathy Hintz

Kathleen “Kathy” McClure Hintz passed away at Season’s Hospice in Largo, FL. She resided at West Minster Shores Assisted Living in St. Petersburg.

Kathy was predeceased by her mother, Kathleen Reese McClure, M. Thompson McClure, husband, Wally R. Hintz and cousin, Edna Vause Lucas. She is survived by her sister, Mary-Lee McClure (Ken) Rouse; uncle, Edwin (Dottie) McClure; nieces, Debra K. Rouse (Mike) Wilson and Anne L. Rouse (David) Springer; local cousins, Margaret Vause (Paul) Kurpe and Kathleen Vause (Joe) Wallace and many more cousins and family members.

In 1962, Kathy graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelor’s degree. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, DAR, and a devoted volunteer at the Museum of Fine Arts and The Florida Orchestra for over 30 years. She loved nature, especially flowers. Kathy always observed and enjoyed the little things in life. She was also very intelligent, having a great memory and was a strong believer of Jesus Christ.
