Obituary of Raymond E Ott

Raymond E. Ott, 86, of Seminole, FL, passed away April 30, 2021 under Hospice care. Born in Indianapolis, IN, Ray joined the United States Air Force as a young man where he served and specialized as an Avionics Ground Support Superintendent until his honorable discharge in 1973. After his military service in 1973, he transitioned into his work as a Test Conductor, and later as a Field Technician, for Honeywell in several divisions until his retirement in 1993.

Ray was a member of the St Petersburg Elks 1224 for 35 years, where he was a friend to Unmasking Autism which benefits the Florida Elks children’s therapy services through his generous donations over the years. Ray was also a 50 year member of his local American Legion, post 273.

Service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery, 5300 19th St N., St Petersburg, FL, on May 14 at 11:00 AM, with honors being provided by a military honor guard at the graveside. Immediatley following, there will be an Elk service at the St Petersburg Elk Lodge 1224, 2675 66th St., St Petersburg, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in honor of Ray to the Florida Elk's Charity Unmasking Autism at PO Box 49, Umatilla, FL 32784.
