Obituary of Viengkeo Phetsadasack

Viengkeo Phetsadasack, age 89, of St. Petersburg, passed away on June 4, 2021. She was born in Savannakhet, Laos and moved to the United States with her family (9 children and 1 nephew) in 1979. She was very happy to arrive here safely with her family, and was excited about starting a new journey with new hopes and dreams. There were already a few Laotian families in the area, and trhe Phetsadasack family stuck with these families and did not feel alone. Her hope was to see her children go out, be successful on their own and able to take care of their families. She raised 9 children on her own and the entire community was proud of the adults they became. Viengkeo celebrated the success of each kid as if it were her own. She never compared herself with anyone else but found joy in personal successes. 

A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 7820 38th Avenue North, on Sunday, June 13th beginning at noon.
