Elaine (King) Buchanan passed peacefully into God’s rest on July 5, 2021.  The daughter of Albert V and Florence (Stevens) King, born April 1, 1936.  She was pre-deceased by the love of her life and husband of 53 years, Daniel M. She was born in VT, raised in NY and attended Geneseo State where she received her degree shortly after marrying Bud. Elaine lived life to it’s fullest.  She loved being with family and friends, teaching, reading, shopping, traveling, golf and playing bridge.  She valued her role as a lector at her churches and was an active member of many social clubs through the years.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle way and infectious smile.  The legacy she left behind will move forward as a testament to the strength she instilled in all of us, her family, her extended family, students and friends.
