Obituary of Beverly Ericson Smoker

Beverly Ericson Smoker, 81, of St Petersburg passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on July 16, 2021.  Beverly was a loving friend, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Hardy and Mary Ericson and her partner in life, Jim Hartley.  Beverly is survived by her daughter, Stacy Green of Loganville, GA; son, Michael Smoker of Sugar Valley, GA; daughter, Erica Swinks of Lula, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Smoker, Lydia Mercier, Caitlyn Green and Nathan Green; and great-grandchildren Noah and Alexander.  Beverly loved her church, Christ United Methodist, and life and enjoyed antiques, making bandanas for her grand dogs, baking cookies, and spending time with family and friends.  Her smile and positive attitude will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Friday, July 30 from 6 to 8 pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home on 2201 Dr. MLK Street North.  The funeral service will be Saturday, July 31 at 11:00 am at the same location.  Committal will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:30 immediately following the service.
