Obituary of Richard J Traub

Richard J. Traub, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Richard was born in Needham, MA on February 20, 1939 to the late Margaret Mary (Kingelty) and Edward M. Traub. He lived in Miami Lakes, Florida for over 55 years and most recently in St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife of 58 years, Judith Ann Traub.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of St. Petersburg; daughter Mary Ellen (Carl) Haselden of Seminole, Florida; two granddaughters, Carli (Colton) Bednarski of Arlington, Virginia and Nicole (Larry) Demeritte of Vero Beach, Florida and his great-grandson, Genesis Demeritte of Vero Beach, Florida.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister (Roy, Virginia, Edward Jr. and Donald).

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Petersburg, Florida on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Following the Funeral Mass, Richard was laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, Florida.
