Obituary of Sharon Lee Manderscheid

Sharon Lee Manderscheid, age 80, was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She passed away July 27th at 6:15pm in Northside Hospital, St Petersburg FL. Sharon was born Feb. 22nd, 1941 in Chicago IL to parents Robert Petersen and Anna Lotz. Sharon is survived by siblings Roberta Darling and Bruce Petersen, who she loved immensely. She gleamed with pride for her two sons Richard and Jon Manderscheid along with their wives and beautiful granddaughter Virginia. After graduating from Highline High School in Seattle WA, Sharon moved to St. Petersburg Florida, where she would spend the remainder of her years. Thereafter she pursued an illustrious and unwavering career as an administrative assistant from 1979-2007 with St Petersburg Junior College. During this time she received several well-deserved awards from the school's Board of Trustees. As an avid lover of arts and literature, Sharon volunteered much of her time with the local library and community art programs for all ages. Sharon Manderscheid touched many lives in a positive way and her precious memory will be cherished by all. A private service will be held at a later date.
