Obituary of Dorothy Ellen Denny

Denny, Dorothy Slama,102, of St. Petersburg passed away on July 29, 2021.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Charles and Nellie May Wilder Slama; brother, Harold Lee (Eloise Burton) Slama; grandchildren, Deann Raquel Leith and Judy Lynn Treat, daughter-in-law Jacelyn Smythe Denny and nephew, Tom Slama. She is survived by her children, Olivia Ellen Denny (Robert Edwin) Hewell, Ronald Curtis (Carolyn Kauffman) Denny, Glenn Morris (Corinne Coursey) Denny and Michelle Lee Denny Treat; grandchildren, Kymberly Leith Mevers, Glenna Renea Denny Soper, Jason Bradley (Jennifer) Denny, Christopher Denny and Michael Valentine Treat; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Deann Mevers (Damon Allen) Nin, Hannah Elizabeth Mevers, Aidan Denny, Stella Denny and Hannah Treat; great-great grandchildren, Lacey Nicole Nin, Kenzi Rose Nin, Madeleine Penelope Nin and Wyatt Allen Nin; three step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; nine step-great-great-grandchildren; niece, Kathy Slama Browne; nephew, Mark Slama and several great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11:30am with a funeral service at 12pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33704 followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709.
