Obituary of Dr. Jerry Goforth

Dr. Jerry R. Goforth, age 77, of Saint Petersburg, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Dr. Goforth was born in Kennett, MO on August 20, 1943 and was a graduate of Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL.  Jerry was a 32^nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Navy reserves and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  Jerry flew planes, loved archeology and was an avid sailor. Jerry started his practice in Mississippi in 1969 and left in 1972 to start a new office in Florida. Jerry retired from a long and much-loved career as a Chiropractor after practicing for over 40 years. Jerry was incredibly generous, was quick to laugh and always looked out for family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Jerry is survived by his lifetime love, Connie Kanobroski; son, Jaret C. Goforth; daughter, Julie R. Goforth-Kremner; stepson, Craig Rhodes and 6 grandchildren, Andrew J. Goforth, Abigail J. Goforth, Zachary D. Goforth, Nicholas R. Goforth, William H. B. Kremner and Charlotte G. Kremner. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. M.L.K. Jr St. N., Saint Petersburg, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-3 p.m. Sunday.
