Obituary Robert P Coleman

Robert (Bob) P. Coleman - AKA known as “Happy” – 83 passed away of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma August 18, 2021 at 8 PM in his home in Pinellas Park, FL. Born November 24, 1937 in Manchester Connecticut, Bob Graduated from the University of Connecticut and in 1958 he was a Charter member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity – Alpha Nu chapter. He was preceded in death by his Father Robert P Coleman Sr and his Mother Margaret Coleman his brothers Jack, Jerry and sister Barbara (Bobbie) and great grandson Goku. He is survived by his wife Mary K Coleman, his three stepchildren, Bobbi O’Bry, Shari Friend and Larry O’Bry six grandchildren Stephen Krista Kirstie Rebecca Nich and Meghan and four great grandchildren Travis, Freyja, Chi and Kaleigh and his Nephew Scott Coleman of Glastonbury, CT. Bob Coleman spent many years as a landscaper and nursery man. He owned two businesses of his own in this field. Landscaping by Coleman and Perennial Lawn Care. He worked with many in the Grower’s association and nurseries throughout Pinellas County and the State of Florida including his wife’s nursery Bloomer’s Flowering Plant Nursery. Bob had a quick wit a great sense of humor and a green thumb. He spent the last few years growing starter herbs ad assisting with the current business Herbs by Merlin, located in Pinellas County where he and his wife lived.
