Obituary of Barbara Ann Weissinger

Barbara Ann Weissinger, 77, of St Petersburg, FL, peacefully passed away at her son & daughter in laws residence on Saturday August 28th, 2021.

Barbara was born in Detroit, MI to Oliver and Blanche Johnson. She is preceded in passing by: her husband Herbert Weissinger; parents, Oliver and Blanche Johnson; parents-in-law, Martha and Herbert Florian Weissinger; grandfather Carl Wisted; sister Darlene Hanson; and brother Marvin Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Richard Weissinger (and spouse, Marlies); sister, Carol Schneider (and her spouse, Dale); father-in-law of Marlies, David Moreno; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In her working years, Barbara spent the last twenty years as Sr Office Specialist for Pinellas County Board of County Commissioner before her retirement. She loved taking her beloved Cuddles on adventures and going to the dog park to see all of her friends. She also enjoyed playing in her yard with all her plants, gazing balls, garden gnomes and pretty flowers and most of all, spending time with her family.

Services will be held on Saturday September 4th, at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home with a Visitation beginning at 1:00pm, and Service at 2:00. There will be a celebration of life to follow immediately after at Harvey’s 4th Street Grill.
