91, of Seminole, passed away September 1, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, and her son, Paul.  Ruth is survived by her loving daughter, Diana Haskell and her husband, Bruce.  She is also survived by her granddaughter, Shannon, who was one of the greatest joys of her life.

Born January 13, 1930, Ruth grew up in Bellefonte, PA.  Following her high school graduation in 1948, she worked as a bookkeeper.  Ruth became a loving wife to Lawrence Kopell on December 5, 1957, and they raised their family in Dayton, OH.  Upon retiring to Florida in 1985, Ruth became a member of the Seminole Women’s Club and the VFW Auxiliary.  Her favorite hobbies were crocheting and crafts, at which she excelled.

Ruth was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who gave all she had to her family and friends.  We will never be able to fill the void she left behind.

Appropriately, as Ruth was such a generous and giving woman, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross Hurricane Ida Disaster Relief Fund.
