Obituary of Stanley Joseph Lobodzinski

age 86, of South Pasadena passed away on September 29, 2021.   Born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Stanley and May Lobodzinski.

Stan served in the U.S Army.   While living in the Schiller Park, Ill area, Stan was an Operations Manager for a large tools manufacturing company. 

In 1967, he married Elsie, they moved down to St. Petersburg, FL.  Stan started his own business as a professional painter.  Along with being a painter, he owned and managed several apartment rental properties.   He had an infectious passion for his work activities along with his non-work activities; boating, fishing and traveling the world with Elsie.   

Most of all, Stan and Elsie treasured time spent living at their home on Pasadena Island where they hosted many years of family gatherings. The family children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren enjoyed the backyard swimming, boating, fishing, and watching the sunset from the dock. What great memories.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elsie and step son George.

Stan is survived by grandnephew Michael Figurski and grandniece Jessica Figurski; His stepson Jerry Gash(Linda), grandchildren Mandy Hill(Steve) and Scott, and great grandchildren.  His stepdaughter Bonnie Gash, grandchildren Dean(Karyl), Duane(Kelly), and Cindy, and great grandchildren.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering, viewing on Sunday, Oct 17th from 4-6 pm at Anderson McQueen funeral home 7820 38th Ave.  The funeral will take place on Monday, Oct 18th at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home 7820 38th Ave. A committal service will follow at  Serenity Garden Memorial Cemetery at 1:30 in Largo.
