Obituary of John Hugh Morrison

It is with great sadness that the family of John Morrison announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the age of 67.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years,Tricia; children, John Hugh, Anne and Chase; mother, Ann; brother, Mark; and other family members and loved ones including Frances, Amanda, Jordyn, Phinee, JP and Vishwa.

John was a wonderful husband and father, shepherding his children with love and care into adulthood. With a bachelor’s degree in computer science, John had a career in the computer field he loved that spanned over 40 years.  John was also an avid walker; his family will treasure memories of walking with John along the footpaths of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, the Cotswolds of England and the beautiful Banff. This loss is felt with every fiber of our being and a reminder of the tremendous love we shared for John. Love will be our guide through this grief; true, unconditional love.
