Obituary of Christopher Brian Uprichard

Christopher Brian Uprichard, 58, of Altamonte Springs, FL, passed away October 21, 2021. Christopher was born September 27, 1963 in St. Petersburg where he attended St. Paul’s Catholic School and St. Petersburg High School. He loved his hometown and spent most of his life living here. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Uprichard and sister, Penelope (Penny) Uprichard.

Chris worked at Acme Glass of Orlando and was a talented, award winning Glass Artist and highly experienced glazier.  He loved creating art with glass especially working with the colors and the juxtaposition of stacking layers of glass. Chris won Best in Show for his category in Orlando’s Fiesta in the Park in April of 2019. He was an avid and talented gardener and had a real green thumb for exotic tropical plants.  He really loved St. Petersburg and was planning on returning soon.

Chris is survived by his father, Peter Uprichard; sister Amanda Uprichard, brother Dylan Uprichard and many other loving family and friends. 

A celebration of Chris’ life will be on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 5:00pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home- NE Tribute Center.
