Oh my goodness I just saw the obituary on Facebook. I had no idea. Maureen and I have been friends for many many years in Connecticut. I was working in the family daycare field and she was doing the child nutrition program. We live not too far from each other and through all the years always did Christmas cards. When I was in Tampa a couple of years ago we tried to connect but somehow it didn’t work. It was such a shock to see that she had passed. But now she is with her beloved Richard. I’m sure so many of her friends in Connecticut are very sad at her passing as am I. I send my condolences to the family I know with her great faith that she is resting in the arms of our Lord

I met Maureen a few years ago when we both started volunteering at the Main library in St. Petersburg for the AARP free tax preparation service. She was such a sweet, lovely woman. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to share a part of our lives with her.

Maureen played bridge with us at the Pasadena Card club. She was always fun and a very good card player. During C0vid she played online with my Mother, Sister and I. We spent many afternoons playing and joking in the chat line. She always had a “trick” up her sleeve and a grin on her face. She will be greatly missed by the card club!

As a Director of a State Funded Child Development Center in Connecticut for many, many years, it was my good fortune to have worked with Maureen. We were required to attend meetings that Maureen organized and ran so well. We learned much about nutrition for young children and were always astounded by her ability to make those mandatory meetings pleasant and informative. She also was always able to accept our rather odd sense of humor when we would show up with donuts or candy to hand out to our colleagues. We learned much, laughed much, and truly enjoyed the extraordinary effort she put into her profession. Thank you, Maureen for the fond memories. Our sympathy to her entire family. God Bless!!

Maureen has been part of my life since we were young students at St. Frances and later as teenagers at Queen of the Rosary Academy. In our Drama Club, Maureen once had the role of the prince and I was her princess. So many laughs on that stage! During this time we also shared wonderful adventures in Girl Scouts. As adults she stood on the altar as my maid of honor and later as my son’s godmother. In our Golden years we joined Pat and Betty for journeys around the country. She was the sister I never had and I will miss her laugh, sense of justice, generosity and commitment to the welfare of others. I am so thankful to have been blessed by her friendship. May she Rest In Peace with her devoted Richard.

Maureen was a beautiful lady of grace. She served selflessly at her church through ministry work. Her family meant everything to her. May she rest in peace surrounded by all the angels and saints. My deepest condolences to the family. May her memory be a blessing.
