Obituary of Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt

SGT Anthony P. Muhlstadt born June 26th 1998 died on November 19th 2021 while proudly serving our Country. Anthony was a machine gunner and a vehicle commander with the 1st Battalion 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, CA, the largest USMC base in the country. Anthony graduated from Northeast High School in 2017 and was currently studying Counter Terrorism. Survived by his mother, Tanya Mort, his father William Muhlstadt Jr, his brother, William Muhlstadt III and his stepfather Bill Mort. Anthony also has a great grandmother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will all miss him deeply. There will never be another man whose love of country was rooted in someone's soul greater than that of Anthony's. To the very core of his being, Anthony was proudest to be called a Marine! Funeral Services will be held at Anderson McQueen, 2201 Dr MLK, St Petersburg. All are welcome to show their love for Anthony and his family on Saturday, December 11th at 11am, with funeral service begginning at 1pm. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Blue Star Families in honor of Anthony. An organization dedicted to keep military familiies connected to valuable resources in communities in which they serve and live. Anthony loved Christmas and another way to show support would be to bring an unwrapped toy to the service for the Marine Corp Toys For Tots Annual Christmas drive.
