Obituary of Sheila Fields

Sheila A Fields, 79, of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully in her sleep December 25^th, 2021 in the comfort of her own home.  Born and raised in Wakefield, Ma she settled down in St. Petersburg, FL in 1980 where she is now survived by her husband Rod Raymond, who lovingly cared for her for years as she battled COPD.  She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine Cavalierie, John Lariccia and her daughter Laurie Cotter.  Sheila is survived by her husband Rod, her son David, daughter-in-laws Maria and Crystal and grand children Matthew, Nathan and Calissa.  Sheila was a very loving person yet also very spirited.  She was a great cook, a lover of music and dance, but above all, she stood strong for what she believed in, and her family thru every challenge.  As a single mother for many years, she worked very hard and put her children first thru the good times and bad.  One of the most passionate people you will ever meet, she showered those around her with love and support.  Sheila was a very spiritual person, while brought up Catholic, she was also open to other forms of spirituality and drew upon them for strength and connection to others her whole life.  Her beautiful spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. 

A memorial service will be held on April 23rd, 2022 starting at 11:00 AM.  We will start with a committal ceremony at forest glade cemetery located at 474 Lowell St, Wakefield, MA 01880 followed by a get together and celebration of life at Davios located at 1250 Market St, Lynnfield, MA 01940.
