Obituary of Arlene McKee

Arlene McKee, 87, of St Petersburg passed away on December 30, 2021. Arlene was born in Avon Park on March 17, 1934. She was raised in St. Petersburg and graduated from St. Petersburg High School. Arlene married Roy McKee on April 25, 1954. They were married 67 years and rarely spent a day apart.

Arlene worked as a bank teller for Union Trust for 14 years before becoming a full-time mom. She enjoyed cooking and her Tampa Bay Rays. She was actively involved in her church, Friendship Baptist Church of St. Petersburg, for many years and loved her church family and friends.

Arlene is survived by her beloved husband, Roy; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lisa McKee, grandsons she adored, Zachary and Jake McKee; her sister, Mary Allen; nieces and nephews Timothy Allen (Angie), Jeffrey Allen (Tammy), Amy Harris (Darren), Joseph Raguckas (Carol), Helen Bingham (Charlie), Theresa Paltza (Gordon), and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Lessie Hansen, sister, Dorothy Raguckas, and son, Mark.
