Honcle Harris

Obituary of Honcle Lee Harris

There are no words to truly explain the impact that Lee Harris had on people’s lives.  He was such an amazing character who lived in every sense of the word. He served his country in both the Air Force and the Army, giving all he had to protect those around him. That’s who he was, a protector. He was a dad, a grandfather, a son, a brother, a friend, and most of all a loving husband. He is survived by his wife, Julie; his son, Spencer and his daughters, Ebony, and Cher. He leaves behind his three grandchildren, Braxton, Chynna, and Gabe. He was the type of man that would never sit back and watch someone struggle. He was always willing to jump in and help, even though the world was not always kind to him. He lived a hard life but a good life and was surrounded by people he loved and adored in his final days. He loved his fishing, sitting on the porch and chatting with everyone in the neighborhood, having a beer with his friends, John and Dave, and bothering his family with his lengthy scratchy kisses. To say he will be missed is an understatement, as his dancing and spirit could lift up any room he entered. May he rest in peace, until we see him again. Love you always and forever.  Thank you for all your prayers, blessings, and positive thoughts during this difficult time.
