Obituary of Dixie Darlene Skiera

Dixie Darlene Skiera, 72, of Kenneth City, FL, passed away February 1, 2022.  She was born 11/30/1949 in Augusta, Georgia to Clifford and Edna (Linder) Pennington. As a daughter of a military family, she traveled the world at a young age. Dixie was in the graduating class of 1967 at McArthur High School in Hollywood FL.  She retired from a career at Coca-Cola after 31 years serving in various positions including management. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, George Skiera and is survived by a sister Beverly Wilson; a daughter, Kathryn McGraw; 3 sons, Kevin (Merissa) Pennington, Anthony (Heather) Kreger; Matthew (Jessica) Kreger; step-daughters Kathy (Frank) Rudolph; Maureen (Jim) Sexton; step-son Michael (Ann) Skiera; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was fun, loving and always there for anyone who needed it. The tremendous love she had for her family and puppies will be remembered by all who knew her.   

Dixie's memorial service will be Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at 6 pm at Anderson McQueen funeral home. 2201 Dr. MLK Street N St. Petersburg, FL 33704.
