Obituary of Mel G. Harte
Mel G. Harte passed away February 7, 2022 in St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 83. Mel was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 22, 1938 to his parents, Edward and Clare Harte. He was survived by his loving wife, Sara M. Mercado, and by his sister, Lucille Foley(Tom).
He was preceded in death by his siblings Edward, James, William, and Kathryn Harte, Rosemary Schierl, and Anne O'Neil.
Mel was a retired Chicago Police Sergeant and loved to golf, sun bathe, and listen to Frank Sinatra in his free time. He will be missed greatly by his many "favorite" nieces and nephews.
